PRINT- Brave Choices

from $16.00

This piece was Part of a gallery show called “Brave Like Eve”. I was very pleased to be a part of the annual Certain Women show.

"Eve has long been scorned for choosing to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Her choice is often seen as a misstep that brought mortality into the world.

Through study and reflection, I have come to see her story differently. I believe there are no coincidences in God’s plan, and that while living in the Garden of Eden, Eve and Adam were taught by heavenly messengers. Eve’s decision, then, was not an act of ignorance or rebellion, but an informed and courageous choice.

Her action rippled through all of humankind—ushering in our existence and the possibility of growth, learning, and love. To me, Eve embodies the strength to choose the harder path, to sacrifice personal comfort or reputation for the sake of a greater purpose.

This courage is what I would love to emulate. I want to be like Eve and make choices that benefit those around me. This is the kind of courage I hope to find in my community and throughout the world. “
